Service Description
Weekly Riding Lesson Tuition — $230/month Monthly tuition reserves the rider’s regular weekly lesson time. Lessons may be taught as either private or group lessons, depending on scheduling and rider compatibility. Riders receive one lesson each week on their scheduled day—four lessons during most months and five lessons during months with five scheduled lesson days. Lessons canceled by the client with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled within seven days, subject to instructor and horse availability. It is the client’s responsibility to contact us and arrange the make-up lesson. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, including no-shows, are forfeited and will not be rescheduled or credited. One eligible lesson may carry over into the following month. Riders may receive no more than six lessons in a single month. Any additional unused lessons expire. Lessons canceled by River Mountain Ranch due to weather, illness, horse care, or another farm-related reason will be rescheduled or credited and will not count against the rider’s one permitted carryover.

Cancellation Policy
By booking a riding lesson or lesson package with River Mountain Ranch (“RMR”), the participant and/or parent or legal guardian agrees to the following terms: Lesson Package Expiration: 4-Lesson Packages must be completed within 30 days of purchase. 8-Lesson Packages must be completed within 60 days of purchase. Unused lessons expire at the end of the package period and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not eligible for credit. Cancellations & Rescheduling: A minimum 24-hour notice prior to the scheduled lesson time is required to reschedule. Lessons canceled, changed, or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited with no refund. No-call/no-show appointments will be treated as forfeited lessons. Late Arrival: Riders arriving late will receive instruction only for the remainder of the scheduled lesson time. Riders arriving 15 minutes or more late may be refused riding for safety reasons and the lesson will be considered a no-show. Weather, Horse Health & Safety Conditions: RMR may postpone or cancel lessons at any time due to unsafe weather, unsuitable footing, or horse/animal health concerns. If RMR cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost. Rider Requirements & Conduct: Riders must meet the age/weight limits for their selected program. Proper attire, including closed-toe shoes or boots, is required. Helmets are required for all riders under 18 and must be worn at all times while mounted. Participants must follow all staff instructions; failure to do so may result in dismissal from the lesson with no refund. Liability Acknowledgement: Participation in equine activities involves inherent risks. By booking, the participant/guardian acknowledges and accepts these risks and agrees to follow all safety guidelines.
